Game Ready Programs
Fight Ready is the offseason home to some of the world’s top professional and amateur athletes. Fight Ready founder, Scott Peters, was the first to recognize the value of MMA training as it applies to performance on the football field. Peters used Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a physical therapy method to extend his NFL career as an offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals. Peters found the value wasn’t just limited to rehabilitation. Techniques of Greco Roman Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Boxing have practical application in football. Since Peters introduced the Game Ready program within the Fight Ready Fitness Center, he has had a hand in developing over 70 professional football players in the 2010 offseason alone.
Game Ready isn’t limited to football. We train professional athletes in hockey, basketball, baseball, golf, and tennis.
Notable athletes trained
MMA Legend Randy Couture and others have jumped on the MMA cross training bandwagon for sports like professional football, because the results are undeniable. What Game Ready offers is intelligent instruction which isolates relevant martial arts techniques which can be successfully applied to an athlete’s respective sport. Although MMA based training is likely effective for most cross training athletes, some of the all encompassing training offered by non experts can actually put an athlete in jeopardy of being injured. Fight Ready understands the athletes rely on us to not only develop their skills and performance in their profession, but most importantly to ensure safety in doing so.
Don’t be deceived by cheap imitators. Game Ready is the safest and most effective martial arts cross training regimen available on the market. Period.
Who can participate in Game Ready?
Game Ready is for anyone who looks to utilize the strength, conditioning, flexibility, muscle memory, and bio-mechanical programming that MMA based training can offer in the capacity of cross training for another sport.
We do train non-professionals, although on a case-by-case basis.
